Sheree is a surface designer, illustrator, and the creator of Whimsy Kaleidoscope. She works from a shared studio space on Boon Wurrung Land in Victoria, Australia.

Sheree has always been creative. Her earliest memory is of her busy box, which contained an abundance of craft supplies where she could sit for hours and create.

In completing a Diploma in Surface Design at ISCD in Melbourne, Sheree found a way to apply her love for creativity and colour, through pattern, design and illustration.

Mostly, she creates designs for licensing and fabric, and loves drawing cute illustrations and custom portraits. Sheree creates most of her work digitally, loving the flexibility of digital design, but still creates designs by hand. Sitting down with scissors and paper to create collages is one of her favourite ways to bring new ideas to life. 

Her designs feature lots of colour, abstract shapes, quirky illustrations and polka dots. Her designs are thoughtful and unique, inspired by nostalgia and little things in life that spark joy. Sheree hopes that her designs can bring a little bit of whimsy to your day and make you feel sparkly on the inside and out!

When she isn’t designing patterns, Sheree spends her time sewing, knitting and snugging with her two pugs.
